Sometimes called little London, the city has many music venues, galleries and festivals that drive its creative reputation. If you’re looking for country living, we are only a few miles away from many picturesque villages and small towns in Gloucestershire and Somerset, which are all within commuter distance. The beaches of Devon, Dorset and Wales are within a two-hour drive from Bristol; a city with great green credentials, with excellent bus service and cycle lanes.
Weston-super-Mare is beautiful sea-side town with plenty going on! Just off the M5 and close to Bristol, our coastal town in the English countryside is rather special. Steeped with Victorian history, there’s plenty of culture to be explored. Which alongside the beautiful beaches, great schools and affordable housing, makes Weston an idyllic place to live.
Weston boasts a thriving local community of independent shops, cafes and music venues, with great transport links as well as a recently opened leisure complex. Weston offers a laid-back lifestyle, with the added advantage of being close to the buzzing city of Bristol and many beaches.

Bristol is a ‘cycling-friendly’ city, but there are also great bus and train links. The new metro-link bus service is a modern public transport system for the greater Bristol area, offering faster boarding and shorter journey times on modern, environmentally-friendly vehicles.
University Hospitals Bristol and Weston could not be easier to find, because our hospitals are right in the heart of the city. Courtesy buses run between our sites, and we are more than happy to offer help with bus passes and rail season tickets. We also provide facilities for bicycles too, but tend to limit parking spaces, and priority is given to those who need them the most.
Bristol also has some high-quality rail and motorway networks that link directly to London. Visit the national rail website.
If you want to go even further, the city is home to one of the country’s fastest growing international airports.
