What is the Bank?

Bank Administrator
The bank is an ideal way of earning extra money while working on an ad-hoc basis, you may be covering staff absences, or providing temporary administrative support for short-term projects. You will have the opportunity to work as an administrator in a range of departments across the Trust.
This role requires:
- availability to work between 9am-5pm Monday – Friday (minimum 22.5 hours a week)
- a flexible and reliable approach
- good computer literacy with experience of Word and Excel
- good interpersonal and organisational skills
- the ability to maintain patient confidentiality

Healthcare Support Worker
You will play an essential role in supporting the delivery of the highest standard of quality care to our patients, working alongside registered nurses and other healthcare professionals. Your role will include a wide range of tasks, from providing personal and intimate care to undertaking clinical observations.
This role requires:
- six months experience working within a healthcare setting within the past 12 months
- minimum of an NVQ level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or GCSE A*- D in English/ Math’s or equivalent.
- able to work a minimum of 2 shifts, in a rolling 3 month period and remain compliant with all essential training, to remain in post
- 5 days of induction within a one week period

Bank Cleaning & Catering Assistant
You will work within the Facilities team helping to provide an appropriate environment for patient care.
You will undertake both general cleaning of clinical and non-clinical areas providing a safe and hygienic environment for patient care, as well as preparing and presenting meals and drinks for inpatients on wards.
This role requires:
- Completion of 10 training shifts including
- 3 full days of skills training in week 1
- 3 cleaning shifts in Bristol Royal Infirmary – from 7am to 2pm
- 4 catering shifts
Once you complete your training, available shift patterns include:
- 7am to 2pm
- 1:30pm to 8pm
- 5pm to 8pm
- 4pm to 10pm
- Nightshifts 10pm to 6am
