GASTROENTEROLOGY & HEPATOLOGY AT UHBW

As part of a service reconfiguration our Gastroenterology and hepatology speciality has expanded and moved to a much larger area. This means we’re in an exciting position to expand our workforce and offer opportunities for Band 5 Nurses to join our friendly and welcoming team.

On ward A900, we now have 24 beds including 12 cubicles and three four-bedded bays. We care for patients who require both ward gastroenterology and hepatology care. Our highly skilled team provide training in managing gastrointestinal bleeds, intestinal failure and irritable bowel disease.

We are looking for nurses that are well-motivated and enthusiastic, with a keen desire to join and support a busy team who pride themselves on delivering high standards of care. If you have a desire to work in gastroenterology and hepatology and have excellent communications skills, this could be your next career move.

A900 is up high in the Bristol Royal Infirmary meaning we get wonderful views of Bristol. It’s also a new and lovely ward to work on with lots of natural light and nice décor.
